USA Skating Rinks

Updated: Sep 28, 2020

As skating rinks prepare to open U.S. Figure Skating, Learn to Skate USA, the U.S. Ice Rink Association and USA Hockey have guidelines to make it safer during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Changes need to be made to the facilities to limit the number of people in the rink. Social distancing of 6 feet apart and cloth face coverings must be enforced. Employees and skaters should be reminded not to come to the rink if they are feeling ill. Disinfecting practices need to be implemented.

Steps are being taken for skating to continue to be a safe but also fun environment.
