Virtual Figure Skating Competitions

The way sports are being conducted has dramatically changed with Covid. Baseball teams are playing to empty stadiums. The last major figure skating competition was held in February in South Korea.

Figure skating is experimenting with holding competitions by having skaters perform verified routines that are recorded and judged from remote panels.

This is an advantage sports like figure skating, gymnastics, and diving now have over basketball, soccer, and football. They cannot compete from practice facilities.
